"I think you're being naive"
It's naive to think the horrible things we can't undertand have simple explanations. Because simple explanations make us feel like we have control when we don't.

i know i'm naive. i've always known that.
i was watching a tv show (battlestar galactica) last night and some character said *that* and i thought 'how appropriate, and just had to post it.
